Get More Space in Your Home with these Elegant New Styles!
Why is it so easy to buy things and so hard to find places to put them? I don't know, but in my search for the answer I've come across some great corner shelving ideas that have helped me find storage space I didn't even know I had! Take a look and see what you think:
Shower Caddy Corner
My first discovery was this elegant and sophisticated Cable Corner Glass Shelf. It's a wall-mounted shelf with a glass shelf curved at the front and what I particularly like about this is that the shelf looks as if it's supported by two slender steel cables. The whole effect is so dainty and delicate-looking that it would look beautiful in your living room with a plant or an ornament on it. The unit is mounted with only one screw and yet it's strong enough to hold 50 lbs.
The glass shelving is 3/8" thick and it has silver colored aluminum fittings. This corner shelving is also perfect for your bathroom where it could give you the use of space above the bath to put toiletries, ornaments or a sweet-smelling aromatherapy candle. You can buy it in two sizes 10" x 10" or 12" x 12" and a set of two; one above the other would look lovely. You can buy this pretty corner shelf from Amazon Marketplace and the price for the 10" is .99.
Another super find is the Wooden 5-tier Corner Shelving Bookshelf. It also fits very neatly into an unused corner and makes a very attractive piece of furniture in its own right. This wood shelving which comes in three rich color finishes: cherry, oak and walnut and it has an expensive and elegant look. The corner shelving unit is floor-standing so you don't need a drill to install it.
It would look great with a few books, ornaments or plants on it and the dimensions are 63"H x 21"W x 21"D so it gives you plenty of storage shelving space. This unit would also be perfect for use as decorative office shelving maybe in the reception area with some hanging plants on it to give the area a touch of class. The shelves are quarter circle shape and you can buy this appealing corner shelving from Overstock online for .99.
Another corner unit that really caught my eye is the Wicker Two-door Bathroom Corner Shelving Unit. It's a tall and slim unit which is excellent for small bathrooms and it has four wood shelves and a handy cupboard underneath. It has loads of style and character and would give your bathroom the very appealing old fashioned cottage look which is so popular at the moment.
The unit has open back shelving which is great for humid locations. The dimensions are 59" x 18" x 14" which will give you a good sized corner shelving storage area. The finishes are either a honey-colored natural stain or white. If you want to give your bathroom a quick makeover buy one of these corner units to add some instant personality and help you store your toiletries and towels. The Wicker Bathroom Corner Shelving Unit is also from Overstock online and costs .76.
There are also lots of corner shelves available as wall-mounted wood shelving to give you more storage space in the kitchen and add some attractive decoration to the decor. For anyone who is cramped up in a small office all day, some corner-shaped office shelving might be just the thing to clear some of the junk off your desk. And you can even get useful wall-mounted metal shelving for corners to put in the garage and get some of your stuff up off the ground! In fact, Rubbermaid Shelving makes a very useful floor standing corner unit especially for use as garage shelving, I remember seeing it on Amazon Marketplace.
I hope I've been able to give you a few ideas about the lovely and new styles of corner shelving you can buy to be both useful and decorative in your home.
